SHERRY KERR - RMT

Sherry began her career in 1991, graduating from Sutherland Chan School. Moving to Qualicum Beach she opened her clinic Healing Hands Massage Therapy in 1998.

Massage Therapy is a true passion for Sherry. She enjoys continuously learning about the body, its mechanics and understanding how posture and biomechanics can affect aches and pains and their relation to pathology.

Sherry's goal with each patient is to provide the most effective treatment to not only alleviate the cause of their symptoms, but to provide them with the education they need to help maintain their treatment gains and improve their overall quality of life.

Sherry uses deep tissue techniques, myofascial work, general Swedish massage, trigger-point therapy, cranial/sacral and passive active stretching techniques to provide a balanced and effective treatment for her patients. Every treatment is catered to individually meet Sherry's patients needs and health goals.
MILISSA RUSH - RMT

Milissa has had a life long love of human anatomy and is passionate about sharing her knowledge with her clients to support their wellness.
Milissa obtained her BSc from SFU in 2004 and her diploma in massage therapy from MH Vicars School of Massage in 2009. She spent the first decade of her career in a physical therapy clinic where she honed her assessment skills and broadened her experience in treating a wide variety of people including those recovering from major accidents, surgeries and other injuries.
Milissa is extremely interested in the role of our nervous system in our healing and how massage helps us to be more aware of our body as a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. She integrates relaxation, deep tissue, fascial gliding, stretching, joint movement and body awareness into her treatments. Her approach is biopsychosocial in nature and encourages client involvement and autonomy within the therapeutic relationship.
